Issues Arising

As the situation unfolds, Union members will no doubt have additional queries and concerns that they are seeking to have addressed. Currently, we understand that there are issues with:
  • Redundancy entitlements being calculated incorrectly. We know that employees under the Mercy Family Services Enterprise Agreement 2011 have been given incorrect calculations. You should receive updated calculations shortly.
  • Uncertainty around the Romero Centre.
  • Uncertainty for maximum term contractors.
  • Employees are unaware which industrial instrument covers their employment.
We have requested further information from Mercy about these issues and we will continue to communicate with you as the situation unfolds.
