Sleepover pay is under threat - take action with us

BREAKING: Big business wants to cut sleepover pay, but ASU members are demanding more. We know that sleepovers need to be fairer and safer for everyone.

So on Monday 22 July, the ASU officially lodged a case with the Fair Work Commission.

We are not only opposing the Australian Industry Group’s (AIG) application to cut sleepover pay – we are demanding the sleepover allowance increases to $180.48 per sleepover so workers are finally properly compensated for their time.

We are also demanding that employers provide secure and clean beds for workers – making sleepovers safe for everyone.

This case won’t be won in the courts alone. Add your name to the petition now to tell big business: Hands off our sleepover pay!

AIG wants to classify sleepover shifts as "breaks," which would take away your hard-earned penalty rates and force you into unsafe back-to-back shifts. We won't let this happen. In fact, we’re demanding more.

This isn’t just about sleepover pay, it’s about making sleepovers fairer for everyone.

We can't allow AIG to put profits before people.

We need to stand together.

Sign the petition today to show AIG that we are united on sleepover pay.

Let's send a clear message that we will not back down until they drop their attack on workers' rights!

Above: Sleepover pay is at risk.
