So many questions left unanswered

The Services Union (TSU) continues to review and participate with Queensland Rail (QR) on SEQ station customer service business operating model consultation, with our TSU delegates Andrew Somerville and Ben Findlay continuing to visit stations and gather your feedback. If you are yet to view the consultation pack, you can do so here.

Our Union has been provided a FAQ answering some of the questions raised so far by affected members, this can be viewed here. Sadly, management are unwilling or unable to adequately answer all our questions or fully address our concerns.

QR’s consultation pack indicates decisions will be made based upon data already gathered by QR and other organizations to align resourcing levels with business and customer needs. So far, the information and data QR references in the consultation notification pack has not been made available.

Your union, The Services Union is seeking this information so our members concerns can be addressed, and your questions answered.

With so many questions left unanswered it leaves our Union wondering what further surprises QR has in mind? However, our priority remains to ensure that the rosters meet our members needs and the community’s expectations.

As a member, we need you to respond to QR as part of the consultation process with your questions and concerns. We ask that you please copy in [email protected].

With all the uncertainty it has never been more important to have The Services Union by your Side. If you know someone who will be impacted but is not yet a member, send them this email so they can join here
