BlueCare Consultative Committee makes a start

As part of your renewed Bluecare Care and Support EBA (EBA) achieved last year, we were successful in establishing a Consultative Committee.

Your EBA states –

4.6.1 An Enterprise Agreement Consultative Committee will meet biannually or as required to monitor the implementation of this Agreement and assist in the resolution of any concerns or issues arising from the implementation of this Agreement. Membership of the committee will consist of four (4) Employer representatives and two (2) representatives from each of the unions party to this Agreement.

This committee is an important forum to connect the experience of those on the front line with senior management and to ensure that our new EBA is being implemented correctly,

The 1st Consultative Committee meeting was held on Monday 10th June. This meeting focused on introductions, intentions of the committee and finalising the committees Terms of Reference.

Union representatives were able to table workload concerns of HCPP’s as a WH&S issue.  To assist in resolving this issue, we need to hear from HCPP’s about workload concerns.
  • Does this issue affect you?
  • What is your caseload?
  • How many complex clients do you have?
Please email your comments/concerns to [email protected]

Collecting this information is vital in advocating for fair and safe workloads.

Please contact your Organiser or Union representative to provide your feedback.
